Produce Market Canceled

CANCELED:

Due to the forecast for below zero temperatures, the Mid-Ohio Food Bank has canceled Saturday's produce market.

The next event will be held Saturday, Feb. 3 at the high school.

West Muskingum Schools, in partnership with Mid-Ohio Food Bank, will host a produce market on Saturday, Jan. 6 at the high school, 150 Kimes Road.

The Mid-Ohio Food Bank will provide produce for the district to distribute to those in need. The market is open to any family in the area. Families with a household income at or less than 200% of the poverty level are eligible to participate. For a single-person household that would be $23,759 annually. For each additional person in the household you would add $8,230.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Distribution of food will begin at 11 a.m. Volunteers should arrive by 9:30 a.m. To volunteer, or to donate much needed plastic grocery bags, contact Conrad Wilkins at 740-819-6159 or cwilkins@westmschools.org
