Previously a microbiologist working in the food industry for over 10 years, I obtained my teaching license and teach Life Science at West Muskingum High School. My goal is to make learning science fun, hands-on and relevant to the students’ lives. I have taught a variety of science classes at WM including Biology, Physical Science, Earth Science, OGT Science, AP Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology. I have a B.S. in Microbiology from Purdue University and a M.S. in Food Science from The Ohio State University. A resident of Zanesville since 1996, I live in the school district with my husband, John. I am the mother of three daughters, Rachel (26), Hannah (24) and Olivia (15) and enjoy gardening, biking and snow skiing.
